Saul Fairholm delighted to sponsor Spilsby Pantomime again
The Practice was once again delighted to sponsor the Annual Spilsby Pantomime, which this year (2020) was ‘Dick Whittington( and Cat!)’, performed at King Edwards VI Academy in Spilsby by Spilsby Local Amateur Pantomime Society (SLAPS).
Since 2012 Greg, one of our associates, has been the principal musician and musical director for the Society and for the last two years has also been chairman of the Society.
We believe that there is enormous benefit giving our support to the performing arts in Lincolnshire as it allows us to engage with a broad spectrum of people, both young and old.
In an era when Social Media seems to dominate our daily lives, it is marvellous to encourage people to partake in a more traditional form of interaction.
Putting on the pantomime itself involves input from a number of local businesses in Spilsby, particularly when it comes to providing materials for props, getting involved in the marketing and
producing and selling tickets and programmes. In addition there is a huge amount of hard work put in by performers, directors, the production team and Society Committee to ensure that the show goes smoothly and is enjoyable.
The pantomime is a chance for the community of Spilsby to come together and share and we are very pleased that our sponsorship helps that to happen.
